Contour Resurfacing

The physician will use Contour to remove thin layers of your skins surface , which will be replaced by younger skin growth. Wrinkles will soften and become less noticeable; some will disappear. Pigmented lesions will greatly improve. Most skin areas can be treated. Most popular areas are the face, neck, chest, and hands.

Healing time will depend upon your actual treatment depth. You will experience redness which may last several weeks. It will take several days to replace the outer layer of your skin. The redness, as well as swelling is common, but will subside. Your consultant and physician will instruct you how best to care for your healing skin. As you heal, your skin will have a residual pink color that will resolve over a matter of time revealing healthy, new skin.

The procedure may take a few minutes to half an hour, depending on the size of the area to be treated to the depth of your peel.
