Sciton ProFractional

 ProFractional is a laser procedure used for dramatically improving elasticity and the overall appearance of your skin including wrinkles, scars, tone, and texture. In some cases it may supplant a face lift. ProFractional is unique to the Sciton Laser in that it treats thousands of microscopic areas of your skin. Because only a fraction of the skin is directly treated with the laser; healing time is quick and downtime is short.  The Sciton ProFractional micro laser beam makes thousands of microscopic holes in the skin while heating the skin. The heat of the laser beam holes stimulates collagen production, and the thousands of holes are filled in with this new collagen-plumping the skin and smoothing out wrinkles, reducing scars, and improving sun damage and overall appearance of the treated area (usually the face). There may be some pinpoint bleeding and/or redness and/or peeling for 2-4 days depending on the depth of the ProFractional micro laser beam.  It may be recommended that from 1 - 5 treatments be done, depending on your skin condition and schedule.
